HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

$75 AUD

This course provides the skills and knowledge to
be able to handle cardiac emergency situations.

Duration

1 hour eLearning + 2 hours face-to-face training and assessment.

Entry Requirements

There are no prerequisite units. Participants will need the ability to meet the physical demands of providing resuscitation. Participants will also need oral communication skills to make an accurate verbal report to emergency services and workplace supervisor.

Assessment Methods

Progressive assessment throughout the course, including demonstration of practical skills and written and oral questions relating to underpinning knowledge.

Award Issued

A nationally-recognised Statement of Attainment will be issued to all successful participants.

HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid

$130 AUD

This course provides the skills and knowledge required
to provide first aid response, life support and
management of casualties until the arrival of medical
or other assistance.

Duration

4-5 hours eLearning or workbook + 7 hours classroom or workplace training and assessment

Entry Requirements

All participants will need the ability to meet the physical demands of providing first aid. Participants will also need oral communication skills to make an accurate verbal report to emergency services as well as the written communication skills needed for completion of a First Aid Incident Report.

Assessment Methods

Progressive assessment throughout the course, including demonstration of practical skills and written and oral questions relating to underpinning knowledge.

Award Issued

A nationally-recognised Statement of Attainment will be issued to all successful participants.

HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an Education & Care Setting

$130 AUD

This course applies to educators and support staff
working in education or children’s services who
are required to respond in the event of a first-aid
emergency. It also accords with training recommended
by Work Health and Safety Authorities to meet WHS
legislative requirements for First Aid in the workplace.

Duration

4-5 hours online/workbook pre-work, PLUS 8 hours face- to-face classroom training and assessment.

Entry Requirements

There are no prerequisite units. Participants will need the ability to meet the physical demands of providing first aid. Participants will also need oral communication skills to make an accurate verbal report to emergency services and writing skills to complete incident reports and other first aid management documentation.

Assessment Methods

Progressive assessment throughout the course, including demonstration of practical skills and written and oral questions relating to underpinning knowledge.

Award Issued

A nationally-recognised Statement of Attainment will be issued to all successful participants.
